This little tidbit from a report of the November meeting of the Michigan Gaming Control Board:
"Also, using some language that might be interpreted as inexact, MGM Detroit indicated hotel bookings in the first two months of operation did not meet expectations."
Perhaps MotorCity Casino is not the only casino hotel with occupancy concerns among the new permanent casino hotels.
